Over the years I have purchased and refurbished several homes. As a result, I have worked with numerous contractors. Of these, I place Wildwood Builders at the top of the list in regard to quality, reliability, timeliness, cost, and overall satisfaction. Wildwood Builders is an exceptional company.
Last year I moved into an older home in South Minneapolis that required major repairs and extensive updates. I enlisted Wildwood Builders at the start of this project and stayed with them until completion. In the beginning, C.L. Delfs, owner and operator, provided a wealth of ideas and brought his considerable knowledge into the creation of a restoration plan. Once the work was initiated, C.L. skillfully organized teams of his own workers and, when necessary, subcontracted for highly competent services to bring the project to a cost efficient and timely conclusion. I was completely satisfied with the course of the restoration process and thrilled with the final results.
I plan to purchase and refurbish additional homes in the future. Without a doubt, I will be collaborating with Wildwood Builders. This recommendation is made enthusiastically, and without reservation.

We are very pleased with the basement remodeling project completed by you. We know we will get much use from the new family room, laundry room, walk-in closet, roughed in bath, storage area and shelving and bookshelves. We wanted to take the time to tell you what a wonderful experience we had and service we received from you and Kristine when we made a major renovation to the kitchen in our new home. We were excited to purchase this home but knew we would want to completely overhaul the kitchen if we went ahead with the purchase. You and Kristine met with us and showed us options before we purchased our home. You provided us with accurate costs associated with the various options and were available to answer all of our questions along the way. Do you remember all the questions we had?
We were reluctant to even attempt purchasing another home, in part, because of the terrible experiences we had trying to remodel our previous home. Our previous experience with contractors in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area was anything but positive. We experienced slow response times (if we got a response at all) with no customer service effort. Other contractors were very frustrating to deal with and we felt as if we were treated like a number. By contrast, our experience with you was very positive. Throughout our project you remained focused on us as customers and were quick to address our anxiety and needs. This made for a much less stressful remodeling project.
Again, we wanted you to know that our experience with you was outstanding. We would highly recommend you and your company to anyone needing similar assistance.

Thanks for my new house. I think it came out really nice. The quality of your work is nothing less than the highest caliber. The craftsmanship that you and your crew put into the project was first rate. I was amazed at every turn---from demo of the old house---to the sheetrock and floor—to the bathroom(shower and tub and floor)—to the new flooring –to the trim work and painting. I don’t know of anyone else who would put that kind of time and superb quality of work into someone else’s bathroom and house.
Thank you to Kristine for all of her guidance. I appreciated all the work that she put into the planning, design and selection of items that went into the project. Everything from the floors, cabinets, lighting, both bathrooms, and the colors look wonderful. Needless to say, I could not have attempted something like this without her help.

We really enjoyed spending last summer on our new deck that you built off our bedroom. It brings in so much more light than what we had before. Plenty of builders bring experience to the jobsite. Very few bring good taste and an open mind. They figured out a way to bring cool contemporary into our split level rambler clone. Plus, they made it remarkably liveable. Our mudroom addition with vaulted ceilings and skylights is the envy of our friends and family. The kitchen extension including center island is a haven for both homework and happy hours. The third garage stall is a dad-with-two-active-boys’ dream. Then there’s the landscaping with natural boulders, ferns, and stone sidewalks (almost feels like living in Lutsen). The most pleasant surprise of all is how constructive they are with your budget—big or not so big. There are no cookie cutters—or builder snobs—in Wildwood Builders’ toolbox. We would highly recommend them to anyone for affordable quality and creativity.

Everyday my wife and I sit down in our new addition, and comment to each other that we should have done our remodel project 10 years ago.
